OUR INAUGURAL TOY DRIVE

THE HEART BEHIND IT

Every kid deserves
some magic at Christmas.

Christmas should still feel like Christmas.
Even in a hospital room.

THAT’S WHY WE’RE HERE.

A simple mission. A meaningful difference.

Operation Christmas Magic is an annual community toy drive created to bring extra joy to kids who can’t be home for the holidays. Together, families, neighbors, and volunteers can turn small acts of generosity into something a child can hold onto.

A family tradition, ready to grow.

Founder Chase Coleman grew up taking part in holiday charitable efforts at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with his family. Operation Christmas Magic brings that tradition back, with a hope of making it part of Atlanta’s Christmas season for years to come.

WHO THE MAGIC IS FOR

INTENDED 2026 BENEFICIARY

Little ones. Big kids.
And the child in every hospital room.

Our intended recipients are pediatric patients, from infants to teens, at Arthur M. Blank Hospital at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta during the Christmas season.

Gift selection and delivery will be coordinated subject to CHOA approval, current needs, and donation guidelines.

A FEW HELPFUL DETAILS

Good questions.
Honest answers.

Can I donate right now?

We’re preparing for our first drive and finalizing CHOA approval and logistics. Donation links, collection locations, and dates will be published here when ready. For now, sharing this page is a great way to help.

What kinds of gifts will you collect?

Our goal is 1,000+ new, unwrapped toys and gifts for infants through teens, selected in line with CHOA’s current needs and safety guidelines. Please wait for the confirmed campaign instructions before buying. View CHOA’s current guidelines.

Is this organized by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta?

No. Operation Christmas Magic is independently organized. CHOA is not a sponsor or organizer. Arthur M. Blank Hospital at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is only the intended beneficiary, subject to approval and current gift guidelines.

Can my school, gym, or business host a bin?

Community collection points are part of the plan. Hosting details will be shared here once the drive’s approval and collection requirements are finalized. No host locations have been announced yet.

How will gifts get to the kids?

The plan is to bring volunteers together to sort eligible gifts, then coordinate an approved delivery with the hospital. Distribution will follow CHOA’s guidelines; donors and volunteers won’t deliver gifts directly to patient rooms.
